Social & marketing consulting — Columbia, South Carolina
We make small brands
impossible to scroll past.
803 Media is a one-woman consultancy for businesses that are good at what they do and tired of sounding like everyone else. Strategy, content, and the posting itself — handled, on a calendar you can see.
Currently working with 9 businesses across the Midlands.

What I do
Four ways to work
together.
Most clients start with a strategy sprint and move onto a monthly retainer. Some only ever need the first one, and I will tell you if that is you.
-
Paid social & launches
For when there is something specific to sell, by a specific date.
An opening, a new product, a seasonal push. Campaign built backwards from the date: the offer, the creative, the sequence, the spend, and the daily hand on the dial once it is live. Run alongside a retainer or as a standalone campaign.
- Campaign plan and timeline
- Creative — copy, stills, video
- Meta and Google setup, tracking included
- Daily management while live
- A wrap report that says what it cost per customer
Project fee plus ad spend, paid direct to the platform.
-
Content days
One day on site. Enough footage and photography for a quarter.
I come to you with a shot list built from the plan, and we work through it in a day — product, people, process, the room. You get a library of photo and short-form video, cut and captioned, that carries the next three months of posting instead of scrambling for something to post on a Tuesday.
- Half or full day on site
- Shot list built from your calendar
- 60+ edited stills
- 8–12 cut and captioned short videos
- Everything in a folder you own
Per day. Available to retainer clients and on its own.
-
Social media management
The whole thing, off your plate. Drafted, shot, scheduled, replied to.
A monthly retainer where I run the accounts end to end: planning, writing, shooting what can be shot locally, scheduling, and answering the comments and messages that come back. You approve from your phone and see everything on a shared calendar a week ahead.
- 12–20 posts a month, across the platforms that earn it
- Short-form video, shot and edited
- Community management — comments, DMs, reviews
- A calendar you can see a week out
- Monthly report and a call about what changes
Monthly retainer. Six-month minimum.
-
Strategy sprint
Two weeks. You end up with a plan you could hand to anyone.
A proper look at where you actually are — accounts, competitors, reviews, and the last twelve months of numbers — then a written strategy: who you are talking to, what you are going to say, how often, and what each month is meant to move. Yours to keep, whether or not we work together after it.
- Account and competitor audit
- Audience and positioning read
- Content pillars and voice guide
- Ninety-day calendar, built out
- A ninety-minute handover call
One-off. Most businesses start here.
How it goes
No mystery,
no surprises.
-
01
We talk
Thirty minutes, free, no deck. I ask what is actually going on in the business — not what you want the posts to look like. Half of these calls end with me telling someone they do not need me yet.
-
02
I go and look
Your accounts, your competitors, your reviews, your last twelve months of numbers. You get a written read on what is working, what is noise, and what is quietly costing you.
-
03
We agree the plan
Content pillars, cadence, the voice, and the one thing each month is supposed to move. It goes on a shared calendar so nobody is guessing what posts Thursday.
-
04
I run it
Drafting, shooting, scheduling, replying, reporting. You approve on your phone. Once a month we sit down with the numbers and decide what changes.
Selected work
Small budgets,
stubborn results.
A few of the projects I can talk about publicly. Each one started with a business owner who was doing the posting themselves at 11pm.
-
The Vista Collective · 2025
A launch that sold out before the doors opened
Six weeks from empty storefront to opening day, with a waiting list of four hundred people and a queue on the pavement.
400+ On the list before opening -
Riverbank Family Dental · 2026
Making a dental practice sound like people
A practice with excellent reviews nobody could find, and a social presence that read like a compliance document.
62 New patients from social in six months -
Palmetto Provisions · 2026
Turning a farm stand into a Saturday institution
A family grocer with a loyal weekday crowd and an empty Saturday. We stopped posting product photos and started posting the people behind the counter.
3.4× Saturday foot traffic
In their words
What it's like
to work with me.

Six weeks out from opening I was panicking. She built the whole runway, told me exactly what to film, and I stopped thinking about it. That is what I was paying for.
Alina Cortez Co-founder, The Vista Collective
-
The first thing she did was tell us to stop paying for something we did not need. That is when I knew we would be fine.
Marcus Reed Practice manager, Riverbank Family Dental
-
I had three agencies before this. Every one of them sent a report and none of them sent a person. She turns up, she watches how we work, and then the posts sound like us because they are us.
Dana Whitfield Owner, Palmetto Provisions
Who you'd be hiring
One person,
on your side of the table.
I started 803 Media after years of watching good local businesses hand their marketing to agencies that never set foot in the state, and get back content that could have been about anyone.
You will not be passed to an account executive. You will not get a monthly report full of numbers that flatter me and mean nothing to you. You get one person who knows your business, answers her own phone, and is honest about what is working.
The 803 in the name is the area code. It is also the point: this is a Midlands business, working with Midlands businesses, and it shows in the work.
- Six years running social for South Carolina businesses
- Nine clients on retainer, capped on purpose
- Meta and Google certified — and sceptical of both
- Everything drafted, shot, and scheduled in-house

Straight talk
We'll get on
if this is you.
A good fit if
- You have a real business and a real product, and the marketing is the weak link
- You want one person accountable, not a team you never meet
- You would rather hear the truth about a bad month than a chart about it
- You can commit to six months — anything shorter is a coin toss
Probably not if
- You want a viral video and you want it Friday
- You want the cheapest option in the market
- You want to approve every comma before it posts
- You are hoping social fixes a problem the business has

going on.
The more you tell me now, the more useful the first call is. If we are not a fit I will say so, and point you at someone who is.
